Chance me on Ivies?

I’m an incoming junior this fall. School is starting for me very soon, and I just want to know what my chances are, or maybe just what I can do to improve my chances? I def know that it’s highly likely that i will get a rejection letter but I just want to try or maybe just increase me chances? My dream schools are Stanford, UPenn and Columbia.

Stats:
weighted gpa: 4.6385
unweighted gpa: 3.8577 (my school gives 4.0 to A+ and 3.85 to A)
SAT: First time I got a 1500, I will take it a second time
Subject: Math 2 and Biology M (haven’t taken yet)
Rank: 4/449
School: Public, in MA
Ethnicity: Asian but born in US
(Since I’m taking a lot of AP, I think I can raise my GPA and rank this year, hopefully. Really hoping to get valedictorian lol)

AP:
Freshman: not allowed
Sophomore: APUSH, AP Seminar
Junior: AP Research, AP Calc AB, AP World, AP Language, AP Statistics, AP Physics
Senior: AP Calc BC, AP Gov, AP Environmental Science, AP Economics, AP Psychology, AP Literature, AP Physics II

EC: (I’ll just list the 10 that I probably will put on my common app)
1.) Alliance for Climate Education, ACE Action fellowship (advocating MA to divest state pensions from fossil fuels)
2.) Science National Honor Society, Co-Founder and Vice President (funded money and raised garden beds)
3.) The Student Conservation Association, National Crews (a trip into the wild, without tech)
4.) Relay for Life, signature fundraiser for American Cancer Society, President (raised money for ACS and attended annual Tufts RFL walk)
5.) Bioinformatics Inquiry through Sequencing at Tufts University (learned to use next generation sequencer)
6.) Culture Connection Club, Co-Founder and President, affiliated with Chinese Culture Connection (assisted city counsel election campaign, help fund low-income CCC after school program, held Asian festivals)
7.) Sunrise Movement, campaign volunteer, recruiter (exposing corrupting political influence of wealthy oil executives)
8.) BioBuilder: intern (“learn research-driven lessons in biological engineering and synthetic biology”)
9.) Zonta International: core leader and chief-editor newspaper (Project on “End Violence against women," recognized by mayor)
10.) Interact Rotary International service club, President (held food drives, lead “feed the hunger” project)

These two activities I haven’t done yet, it will be next year! excited
3.) The Student Conservation Association, National Crews (a trip into the wild, without tech)
8.) BioBuilder: intern (“learn research-driven lessons in biological engineering and synthetic biology”)

Those will prob be the 10 things I will put on since I devoted a lot of time and effort. Most of my Ec were mainly research and environmental driven. I hope to pursue environmental science as my major in college or business. As you can see, I didn’t play sports or instruments or anything in high school. I didn’t get any national awards or anything either. The things I did kinda revolved around one topic so idk if thats a good or bad thing. I did things surrounding around science, which is something I love. Since college apps are about a year away, which may be early to some people, but to me, i feel like it’s super close so yeah. I did alot so my junior year, I will continue to build off of them. I just want to get some feedback )) thank you. And please comment below if you want me to clarify anything. The descriptions I had there were quite broad haha. I will make them a whole lot specfic on app

Your ECs are interesting, particularly those targeting Big Oil. No question that you are a competitive applicant. Colleges will restate your GPA on their own version of a 4.0 scale on which your GPA would probably be higher than what your high school reports. Your weighted GPA is not something colleges can really use as scoring practices vary so widely. Probably the best way to think about Ivy Admissions is that your test scores and GPA/curriculum will allow you to be competitive but your essays and ECs and how you write your application will be what makes you a compelling applicant

@Wje9164be Thank you. That is honestly very kind of you to say. And yes, I will be brainstorming topics to write for my essay this year. And yeah, I also heard from others that colleges will re-calculate GPA on their own scale. Thank you so much for your feedback! I’ll continue working harder this year! :))))))

wow your stats are amazing. you will definitely be a competitve applicant for all ivies. best of luck!

@eastcoastrower Thanks alot! that means a lot, I will try to improve them this year as well :))))) Best of luck to you as well
