Should I do ED or just RD?

I think RD you might get shafted because of your GPA, but ED I think they might “forgive” you if you will? The standardized test scores are perfect for NYU, but I would say you have a good chance either way.

personally i think you’ll get in either way (ED or RD)… i would actually be rather shocked if you didn’t… and slightly discouraged
your gpa is good… and it shows improvement (freshman & sophomore years - 3.5 to a 4.0 junior and senior year is really great && 7 aps (!!!))
in addition all of the extra stuff you’ve done really speaks for how talented you are :). i really think that you have a great shot at getting in but about your question" ED or RD?"

i heard that you get more choices for ED like housing and stuff but RD allows you to compare financial aid offers (idk if this matters to you)
i guess you really have to ask yourself- “is this the place i want to go?” and if your answer is “without a doubt YES” && of course the financial aid isn’t an issue then I’d say go for ED.
