ACT: Took it once so far, plan to take it twice more. The first time I took it (sophomore year) I got a 28. Studying hard for it currently, and going to take it this spring then again in the summer. For this purpose, let’s use a 30 as the score (since I’ll take it twice more and am almost guaranteed to improve + my sister had the same starting score as I did and got a 31 + im going to end up having 50-80 hours of study for it)
SAT: N/A
EC’s:
3 years of Track and Field (JR. High as well, got Coach’s Award and MVP during JH)
2 years National Honor Society member
2 years Mu-Alpha Theta member (math society)
~20 hours of volunteer work at homeless shelters, community activities, etc.
~50 hours of paid work for my mother’s business
Photography awards (Participation in Congressional Art Show, Special Recognition in the Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition for two pictures, two honorable mentions in the Scholastic Art Show)
Future essays: I haven’t taken the writing portion of the ACT test, but I do believe I am a good writer. I’ve always been graded well on papers and I think my essay would at worse be slightly above average.
Interests/ Hobbies/ Passions/ Miscellanious:
-Lover of science/ math (and most STEM subjects actually)
-High jump/ Long jump (track/ field)
-Disc golfing
-140 WPM typer (not exactly relevant, just added info)
Can you chance me for the colleges I listed? Also, bonus points for anyone willing to give tips on where I can improve/ what I’m missing
