from a reasonably well to do school district in Ma. scores in our school are usually at around 1100

Accelerated in our school means a class is given AP credit on your transcript and should be weighted as such for the purpouse of weighted gpa, but there is no AP test at the end of the course. for example, i took accelerated precalculus, which covered everything from unit circle to all the different methods of finding derivatives. and it is given the same weightage as ap macro.

My common app essasy is about how i managed to turn around my high school career from a mediocre member in all my extracurriculars and a decent student into a much improved member in my extracurriculars such as being an officer and a varsity athlete and a much improved student as shown by the better grades and the national merit semifinalist.
Visited Virginia tech and wrote very good essays for that college, am currently doing purdue.
my family doesn’t have much experience with college apps in the US and I would love to know my chances for these colleges as they seem to be pretty large reaches at first glance. I’m hoping to learn whether my test scores or improvement in grades gives me a decent shot at these colleges or whether i should aim lower.
also, i would love to know some other colleges that are more my range and are a little forgiving towards my low GPA due to my test scores.
