What are my chances?????????
Major:Biomedical Engineering: Premedical

Match. SAT is the lowest factor, good luck in October.

write a compelling essay about overcoming a new country. but definetely a possiblity

you got a chance, i had similar stats and i was able to get in

Get those SAT’s up to at least a 1900!

post your UC gpa so others can judge your situation better, but you have a high chance. Get your SAT 2 scores up…:]

You have the grades, you have the ECs, what you do need is to improve your SAT to ~1900-1950 level, improve your SAT IIs to a 650/700 level, take the bio SAT II (since you’re premed) and write a decent essay.
As it stands right now: I’d say a maybe(50-50 chance) cause biomedical engineering or any bio or engineering field at UCI is heavily impacted.

btw does your school offer AP Bio ? If so take it. It can only help you.
Good Luck.
