i heard that not submitting sat scores can hurt my chance…is that true?
  2. am i allowed to report my ap scores for admission purpose?
  3. can choice of my intended major affect my chance?

I really want to know my chance because I haven’t written my essay for amherst yet
and I don’t think its worth writing it if my chance is very low .

I appreciate any kind of advice/tip. Thank you!

submit your ACT it’s wayyyy better

^^^but i heard that submitting only my act scores can
hurt my chance… is this even true?

Amherst will look at either. Submit ACT. Math isn’t overpopular, so you should have a good chance. Just make sure your essay represents you and who you are, and it is well-written. Nothing is sure about elite admissions, but you have a good chance if your essay is wonderful. Good luck!

will my international status affect my chance badly?

Submit ACT only.
