Hey, I'm an international freshman applicant. I've applied for computer engineering, could someone please chance me based on the following stats?

SAT Superscore: 1970 - Maths 740, Writing 650, CR 580.
GPA 3.3/4.0

And my application status recently changed to:
'We are reviewing your credentials. A decision will be available here as soon as one is made.'

Any idea how long it would take? Thanks!

Decent stats, but this late in the admissions cycle I wouldn’t get your hopes up for main campus. Good luck though!

my application has been “Your application is complete and all of your required materials are here. Please continue to check your status.” for more than a month. should I worry?

Contact the admissions office just to be sure! Stayed like that for 1-2 weeks for me

I did. They answered me with saying that I will get a decision in few weeks but my status did not change. Should I contact them again?

GPA is 2/3 of their decision, a 3.3 likely wouldn’t get you in during prime application time, it really likely wouldn’t get you in right now.

@Etuck24 Thanks for the insight but since PSU isn’t all that great for computer engineering, wouldn’t I have a chance? Considering I have a decent SAT score

Computer engineering is hosted by the college of engineering, not the IST college - that makes it more challenging for you. A 1900+ SAT would have been good to apply…back in November. Also PSU doesn’t super score (or they didn’t last year) SATs, they take your best from one sitting

Well I got a 1950 in one sitting so it’s not that big of a difference. Thanks again though

With that GPA/SAT combination, you’d be offered branch campus in most cases if you applied during the Fall, so this late in the cycle odds are very low you’ll get UP. if you’re lucky you’ll get Behrend but odds are you’ll get Altoona or Harrisburg.
Is your GPA W or UW? If UW, what is it W?
(there’s a document that shows what combination you need - for that GPA UW, you’d need a 2200, especially for engineering.)

@safirkhan Did u get a decision?

@Swiftie13 - not yet, but my application status changed to ‘We are in the final stages of review and an admissions decision will be posted here in the coming days.’ So any day now I guess.

Generally whatever picture is shown on your admission portal is the campus you’re admitted to

@SafirKhan Good Luck!! let us know once you receive a decision!

@Etuck24 - it shows UP for me, is that a good sign?
@Swiftie13 - Thanks! And yeah i will.

@SafirKhan my status has just changed to the same one as yours! Im worried!!! do they show the picture of the campus before admitting you?

Good luck to both of you! As others said, generally the picture shown in the application page is the campus they will admit you into.

I just got in but not into the main campus is it possible to transfer to the main campus when I start school?

For the most part, you have to do 2 years at a branch campus then you are eligible to transfer to University Park

Rejected. Well then, Purdue it is!
