Chance me please? Cornell/Berkeley/USC

OK, so I am extremely nervous about apply to Cornell. Am I silly for even thinking I have a chance?

What do you think my chances are if I have the following stats.

Academics:
Transfer student from Texas
52 semester credits (68 after Spring 2013)
3.94 GPA
Member of Honor Society Phi Theta Kappa
Recipient of Scholarship for Business Students

Extra Circular:
President of Student Government
Public Relations Secretary for Phi Theta Kappa
Full-time employment as a Sales Associate at At&t

The kicker is though, is that I have never taken the ACT/SAT.
And high school grades were pathetic, but as I noted in my essays I did not take high school seriously. I have since discovered what it means to value an education and I hope that it shows in my GPA.

What do you think?
Also, I am applying for the Economics.

What I am insecure about is the fact that I have not yet taken Calculus or a Foreign Language. Am I over-thinking it, or is this important?

I feel like my essays are decent. I mean.. .I have a mature tone and explain why I've had such a gap in my education as well as what I am trying to accomplish by going back to school.

No one? Please?

I think its worth a shot for sure, your grades are very good, and you will probably get into 1 of the 3. What school are you transferring from? Do colleges not want test scores for transfer students? I would add a couple safety/match schools to the list too. Best of Luck!

These schools do not require SAT/ACT if you have more than X amount of transfer credits. Which I do. I am transferring from a Community college in Texas called Tarrant County College. My safety schools are the other UC’s like San Diego, Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara and UCLA.

It sounds like you’re in a great position then :). The UC’s are all great schools. some of which you are bound to get into, and others which you have a chance at. I hope you’re happy with wherever you end up :).

please??? Am I really that bad that no one will chance me?

bumpity bump bump

Absolutely no shot at Cornell without standardized tests unless you have alumnus blood dating back ten generations that all still donate 1m+ every month. Good luck.
