Counselor rec is alright. She’s like lowkey illiterate. It sucks.

Essays: 1. Wrote about my experiences going to school in india and how material possessions draw people of different means apart. (Very well written and insightful)
2. Wrote about starting the investment club and promoting financial literacy and introducing motivated youth to knowledge that is almost entirely excluded form secondary education (drop a lot of fancy terms like “put options trading” “Return on assets” “Collateralized debt obligations”
3. Wrote about my disability and how it has not only impacted my academics but undermined my potential on an emotional level by making me predisposed for failure. I covered how being alone in india led me to take initiative and overcome my disability. (Best paper ive ever written, made my counselor cry)

In short, I conveyed to Bentley that despite my GPA I can be successful in an academic environment. I also conveyed that I am a Grade A finance geek. Been runnin’ a portfolio since '11. I know more about the financial market that the majority of banking bound college grads.

Ive also been in email contact with an admissions officer from Bentley. I really want to go this school!

I will pray for you. I know the upward grades is wonderful and you took challenging courses. I hope you get in! My son applied early action and my oldest graduated from Bentley in June. I cannot explain to you what wonderful program it is. Such a great school.

@momtoo3 is does bentley give accommodations to students with learning disabilities? Do the learning disabilities play any roll in admissions?

@BabsonDURutgers students with learning disabilities get extra time on exams, and finals given that you have the correct documentation submitted. There are plenty of tutors if you need help and your academic advisor will be able to help make your schedule more doable for you.
