I work as a Gardener. I garden neighbor plants daily.

Do I have a shot at UIUC? I want to major in chemistry and biology and was wondering if I have any shot? I live in state of Illinois. I am going to do EA and want to go to division of General studies if that is the place to go. Please give me any advice or any schools that have a good reputation for chemistry and biology. UIUC is top choice for me.
Also Do I have a chance at Northwestern? My aunt works at the Kellogg School of Management and is a Project manager. She was in charge of the new building recently built. My mom is also a prestigious nurse at Northwestern. She won an award and has her poster on the wall.
thx for chancing me
anyways, you have a really low GPA, which is big problem.
Try to explain this problem through your essays
u have good EC like Scioly
If I were you, try to raise your ACT to atleast 32 to have good chance at UIUC.
Northwestern seems like super reach, idk if ur mom working there will help
Just focus on ACT for now otherwise u wont get in due to low GPA
lol I’m a twin too. Haha funny. Right, your GPA is too low for UIUC and with that northwestern will be out of reach. Your saving grace will be the upward trend of your GPA. Your ACT is low for Northwestern and low average for UIUC. If you get it to a 33, you’ll have a pretty good shot. What are your safeties??
I don’t think applying DGS will help or hurt you. Penn State id say is a low-mid Reach with your GPA. I really recommend grinding an ACT study session for like 2 weeks with 4 hours a day studying, and your act will skyrocket. If you’re getting 27s there are some mistake that can be relatively easy to fix to go up a bunch of points.
ED penn state would give you an ok chance, just raise you ACT score as I said earlier. Colleges big in size weigh ACT and GPA to be almost equivalent with GPA having a slightly upper hand. A 3.2 for Penn is unfortunately low. And a 27 puts you at average. Maybe try Northeastern? You won’t get too many well know colleges unless you apply to a bunch and hope they like the Hispanic factor - which will help a good amount - but other than that I’m clueless. If you have any questions hmu
