Chance me please! I don't know if I'll get in...

<p>Name: Richard
Grade: Incoming Junior
School: Glastonbury High School (A well known high school in Connecticut, I think)
Ethnicity/Gender: Korean Male
Income: Less than 75000 (Dad went to high school, Mom dropped out of college because she had no money and both lived in Korea)
Intended major: Pre-med
GPA UW: 3.2</p>

<p>Colleges I'm thinking about (Not in any particular order):
-BU
-Northeastern
-Uconn
-Binghamton (Not sure about this one, my mom hates this school, idk why though)
If there are any more decent schools for pre-med, please tell me some!</p>

<p>Okay, so here are my stats:</p>

<p>Freshman year (I took no Honors or AP classes, just regulars):
-Algebra 1A: B+
-Chemistry: A-
-English 9A: B
-Euro History (S1): A-
-Geometry (I went to summer school for this, because I just wanted to be ahead of the others): B
Health/PE: A
Latin America/Carribean (S2): A
Spanish III (I was put in the lower level Spanish class because I moved here 3 years ago): A-</p>

<p>Sophomore year (Took the highest level english class my school offers, and AP Bio):
-Algebra 2A: B
-AP Bio: C+ (Got a 2 on the AP exam)
-Honors English: B-
-Health/PE: A
-Spanish: B</p>

<p>Junior year schedule:
-Honors Pre-Calc
-Honors Journalism
-Honors American Literature
-AP Physics
-MAYBE Intro to Psychology/AP Psychology
-US History, no AP</p>

<p>The only reason why I'm saying MAYBE for pysch is because I have a free period and I want to add the extra class
I didn't include my electives for both years because I didn't think they were important.. and yes, I know I slacked off so much my sophomore year. I learned my mistake and I won't do it again.</p>

<p>SAT I: Taking it junior year, after PSAT's. My goal is 2100
SAT II: Chem 590; Bio 630 (I'm definitely gonna retake Bio, but I'm not so sure about Chemistry yet)</p>

<p>Extra-Curriculars (Most of these are projected):
-Key Club: 9, 10, 11, 12 (40+ hours by senior year)

-Played piano since freshman year, but no competitions, just as a hobby.</p>

<p>Job/Work Experience: Working at my dad's restaurant </p>

<p>Summer Activities:

<p>I know I'm doing everything my junior year... I didn't realize how important Extra Curriculars were until I found out about CC which was in the beginning of this year. </p>

<p>Thank you in advance!</p>

<p>[Academic</a> Profile | Admissions](<a href=“http://www.northeastern.edu/admissions/apply/profile.html]Academic”>http://www.northeastern.edu/admissions/apply/profile.html)</p>

<p>This is the link to the 2010 freshman profile. It was higher all around for 2011 and I’d assume that upward trend will continue for 2012. Keep working hard, take as difficult classes as you can and do as well as you can. Take an SAT class and make sure you do get close to 2100’s… Jr year is the BIG year, make it count.</p>

<p>thank you! i’ll try my hardest</p>
