Reach

A very far reach particularly for engineering.

I am sorry to say that it is a really high reach.

It is practically out of reach.

Are you in the IB Diploma program? If so, what is your predicted IB score and what is your 3rd HL subject?

Nothing too major. 42 predicted score / 45
Higher Levels: Math, Phys, English (6,6,7)
Standard Levels: Biology, Language A, business (7,6,7)

I really applied knowing that i’m not getting in. But i just applied for it :D

Best of luck to you FaresSam wherever you attend college.

42 is a very good score. I think you have a shot at Michigan. Michigan weighs GPA more than test scores. However, your SAT score is too low. You should be able to do much better, especially in math.

You need to improve each section of the SAT by 70-80 points. If you do, you have a reasonable chance.

For Engineering, aim at 700+ in each section score.

I know an international kid who got into engineering EA last year with 42 IB and barely over 2000 SAT. However, the OP’s low math score is a big liability for engineering.

Hey guys can you chance me please? I do the IB
