<p>I am a soprano, have won a number of bigger awards and competitions, regional, national and local, apprentice for a mid size city opera, supernumery, unpaid PR intern for same opera. usual school musicals, choirs, drama. president of choir, attended summer opera training where the maestro gave me a lst of selective music schools he thought I would be a good fit for.</p>
<p>But - had a rough HS start and gpa is only 2.9 (hoping to pull it over 3.0 this semester and ACT is 20. I do attend an incredibly competitive HS, ranked 3rd in my state.</p>
