I know my SATs are horrible, but i know GW takes GPA more into consideration and i applied early decision II to help my chances. but what are my chances really....

Hi you never know......they actually take the holistic approach, meaning they look at the whole person, I will say however we have heard that the test scores are pretty important and carry a good deal of weight but nothing can take away from a successful high school career for 4 years over a test score in the course of a few hours.... but who really knows.Good luck to you, I think you will be finding out in the next week or so. Your ec's are good too.....best of luck!

At my D's high school, no one has ever been accepted to GW with an SAT score lower than 1800, according to Naviance. However, you never know, since you're and URM and have strong ECs. Best of luck.

I agree with researchmaven. You need at least an 1800 SAT.

The average SAT, if I remember correctly, is 2000.
