just to clarify, although my stats/couese/awards/nationality may suggest that i am a math/sceince nerd, but i am not and i did try to make a point of this in my essays.
in fact, i intend to take economics, environmental studies or history as my major. and i enjoy writing (in english), politics etc..

Thank you very much.

Anyway: your SAT CR score seem to be below par for Oberlin, which wouldn't make your application stand out. Definitely try to emphasize more on your non math/science aspects. But you definitely stand a chance getting in (although this is again dependent on how many HCI-ians and Rafflesians apply there in ED-I this year)

Btw "Working experince: NO, which is a norm for Singaporean students and students from China as well.": Not true. Internships and all that are somewhat common among Singaporean Singaporeans =p.

You taking the SATs again?

sorry i cannot figure out who you are, and i will appreicate if you erase my chinese name:)

and also one of the oberlin senior form singapore told me my application will be considered together with the other mainland chinese applications, which is not that relevant to HCI and RJ...
i am not taking SAT again.

only bronze for SMO? tsk.. hahas. your ECs are not bad but not spectacular. your SAT i leaves much to be desired... SAT IIs are. alright, expected =P oberlin's a reach. because "you need a lot of finaid" and schools don't have a lot of money. i assume your family cannot contribute at all to your education? so, well, since schools aren't all that rich, you'd face alot of competition. yeps.
