Hey.
So you have very good grades and a very good SAT score and solid extra curriculars. If the admissions were straightforward, I would tell you you would be in.
However, after this year, I regret to say that UC admissions seem very luck-based now. I have friends with higher stats than you and they got rejected/waitlisted. With all the budget cuts, the UC system has made enormous cutbacks, hence the strange admissions. I can’t really chance you- it depends on a lot of factors. You probably have a really really good chance of getting in, but just don’t be frustrated if you don’t. I have friends with 3.4’s and 2000 SAT score who got into Berkeley but not Davis. I have friends with 4.2’s and 2250 on the SAT who got rejected. Random, right? Regardless, best of luck! Just keep the good work up.

You are a shoe-in. Your SAT is very good and you course-load and GPA is above average. Don’t sweat it, I’d say.

Is there any chance of me getting a regents, what are some of the things they look for…?
In terms of whether you ‘qualify’ to get the scholarship?

Thanks

Please advice/opinions anyone??
