ACT: 29 (33 math, 31 writing, 11 essay, 25 reading, 27 science) *took it again, score should go up
Senior classes: AP Eng, AP Span, AP calc BC, honors physics, Gov/econ, Jazz band, soccer
HS course load: all honors/ap classes except history</p>

<p>Hook: legacy, dad and grandma
Downsides: white, not much work or community service, OOS, one letter of rec</p>

<p>This is my dream school, applying EA. My essays are pretty good, my counselor LoR is superb, my teacher LoR should be allright. My school doesn't rank, class size= 600.</p>

<p>I think your chances are good.</p>

<p>Your GPA is strong and although your test scores seem mediocre, the sections that matter, math and english/writing are strong so it won’t really hold you back at all. Your ECs are the only weakness you really have. You should be fine but nonetheless make sure you keep that GPA up just in case you get deferred, which I believe is unlikely. I think you’ll get in EA.
