Essays: Personal statement was good, but nothing special; supplemental essays were excellent.
Rec Letters: Teachers were pretty good; didn't see counselor rec, but I suspect it was strong as well.

I know a 3.7 is borderline for U of M, but I'm not sure how my other statistics will play in. What do you guys think?

Match

Strong test scores and EC record - leadership is a plus, depending on which type of position it was

GPA is OK because of heavy AP/honors load, which should compensate for the fact that it’s below average - it also sounds that your AP scores have been strong which will be a plus for you

Good luck!

Match but not a slam dunk.

^Agreed on the OP’s chances not being a slam dunk (otherwise I would have said “strong match” or “safety” if those CC terms we used back then are still being used)

Your ACT score is right on target for Michigan, and your leadership will look great on an application. I’d definitely say you have a good shot, and in-state is a bonus as well.
