<p>(Oh dear - I hate replying to “chance me” but here goes). I’m thinking similar - although I’d put you stronger at Tech (Gov’s school - congrats!). Rumor has it W&M pays some attention to legacies, I don’t know how much UVA cares about grad-level legacy. SATs might be on the low side but you have some VERY interesting ECs to talk about. Keep in mind I’m not “DeanJ” on the UVA forum, and I have no insight into UVA or anyone else’s actual decision processes.<br>
W&L is a reach based on their small size and broader recruiting. Increase if you have family looking to make a large donation. (W&L is a fine school but I picked up that $$ vibe when S visited a few years ago.)
Upgrade chances for W&M, Tech, UVA if you are NOT from NoVA, Henrico, parts of Tidewater (can you move to Narrows, VA for senior year? Just kidding.)
I’d call UD a solid match, maybe a near-safety.</p>
