I plan on applying ED1 for Trinity College in CT.

Nationality: French
GPA: 2.6
(I know it's low, but I will be explaining why on the Additional Information section, and so will my guidance counselor in her recommendation letter)
SAT: Math: 470 CR: 510 Writing: 670
(I will be retaking the SATs again in a week)
CLASSES: All IB classes, the toughest courses in my school.
Applying for financial aid: Yes (sadly I don't have a choice)

LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION: From my English and French teacher. Another one will be from a college professor, and another from a mentor.
ECs: Member of Amnesty International, Treasurer of the Community Service club at school, IMUN Delegate, Journalism team, Had work experience working with a finance firm over the summer. I also founded and I'm the current president of a volunteering group in my community that provides English tutoring for disadvantaged children. I also have been playing guitar for 4 years, and I do horse riding and tennis.
AWARDS: Outstanding Achievement in Spanish
Essay: EVERYONE who has read it say it's unique and it stands out. GREAT feedback.
INTERVIEW: Did one, and it went really well. I think the interviewer wrote a terrific report!

EXTRA: I currently have Psychology classes (my intended major) in a local university, where I, surprisingly, have a 4.0 GPA. Last year I had a 19, (in my country grades are from 1-20), which is VERY hard to get in French universities. I plan on sending this transcript (well the university will...) which I hope will hopefully compensate for my crappy GPA, and it will show that I CAN do well academically on my intended major.
