Hi, I'm applying to UW seattle and I have an SAT score of 1790 with a 3.9 GPA. I'm taking two IB classes IB calculus and IB chemistry II along with three college classes at a local college. I plan to get my AA degree by the time I graduate high school. I have volunteered for about 3 years at a food shelter. What are my chances..? I am Japanese, and moved here when I was about 11 years old. I wrote my essay on how I had to learn a new language when I moved here, along with my knowledge of the similarities and differences that I saw between the culture of Japan and the United States.

can you break your SAT 1790 down to each part?

I think you have a good chance. Do you apply as a US citizen or international.
and everything has much different. when moving there, I may have tons of things to adapt to

Good luck!!

I’m a U.S. citizen… I got a 520 on reading, 660 on math, and 610 on writing.

Does UW only look at reading and math portion of SAT?

@dabober No they look all 3 parts.
