Because I have been out of high school for so long. Columbia GS didn’t waive them I had to take their GSAE. I don’t know my scores on that yet though. I never took any of the test in high school because I knew of my military intentions. September 11th had a profound impact on me. My high school career was lackluster not awful but not special. I believe my GPA was in the 3.0 range with normal classes. I knew deep down I was not ready for college life I needed a little more time to mature.

Oh Ok. I just looked into it, and I am out of time. The last testing date they accept was last weekend for the ACTs, and I don’t know about the SATs. I figure it will be the same thing since most of the school’s deadlines are March 1st. Thank you for your replies!

I would of never thought about any of these schools except UGA, if it were not for my dad. He went to Yale and Harvard, and he brought up the idea that these schools are looking for diversity. We figured that a Veteran would accomplish that and hoped that they would see it the same way. So we are putting all our eggs in that basket and hopefully it will work out for the best. If it doesn’t I will gladly go to UGA and shoot for those schools when I pursue either my MBA or JD.

Are you applying as a graduate or as a transfer student?? Either way, your dad’s right about top colleges and military veterans. Any applicant with significant Navy/Army/Marine experience is regarded very highly, especially for business and law schools.
