Hi College Confidential! I noticed that this place allows other ppl to predict or chance your probability of getting into certain colleges with available statistics.

Background: I'm Asian (Chinese to be specific) and live in New York and goes to a high school that is listed in the top 50.
Grade: Junior
Highest SAT Score: 1930 (780 math, 570 reading, 580 writing)
SATII: 630 US History
(I'm a poor test taker, I know)
GPA: 94.4
APs I have taken/expected to take: US History, Macroeconomics, Literature, Statistics, Calculus
Extra Curricular:
Fencing
Piano
Key Club
Volunteer:
Zoo, Chinese Planning Council
National Honors Society

*My school does not calculate class rank so I can't provide that.

I am hoping to get into the following colleges as a business/finance major:
Boston College
Macaulay Honors College
New York University
Rochester Institute of Technology
Stevens Institute of Technology

I know this is a bit early and I listed very few colleges but I am extremely apprehensive.

you definitely want to bring that SATup for boston college and nyu; the 1930 itself is not THAT bad but the 570 reading will ruin your chances; as for your ECs, they seem like typical “filler” ecs aside from fencing (of course I could be completely wrong; I do not know your actual involvement due to the amount of info given)

thanks yea I know my sat score is kinda low compared to everyone else on this site
bump!

Are you going to take more APs? Or more SAT2s? Have you taken any of them yet/how did you do?
(And I know how you feel, I’m super nervous, too x_x)

my school is highly competitive on APs, the average student probably gets at most 5 APs throughout 4 years of high school. and as for SAT2, I’m taking 2 more next week.

huge bump! haha finally found my thread again
gpa increased
taking AP Literature, AP Calculus, AP Psychology, AP Stats, and AP Macroeconomics right now as a senior
