You look like you stand a really good chance. What is your intended major? It seems like you’re really interested in politics. If you want to be a poly sci major, you could write a really good essay tying together a lot of the things you’ve already done involving poly sci (helping with elections, SGA, etc) and how you would continue these at Tulane. Make sure you keep your grades up senior year, especially with that tough course load, and show as much interest as you can! Visit campus, contact your admissions counselor, and you stand a REALLY good chance, in my opinion :)

Good Luck!!

Thank you, I’ll take your suggestions into consideration with the whole application process. I love politics, but majoring in Politics/Political Science won’t get me far in life (money, jobs, etc.) that is why I intend to double major in Economics and Political Science.

Haha, I completely understand about the poly sci thing, my brother thought the same thing! But still your intended double major really complements what you’ve done in high school, which is good. Honestly, my best bet is that you’ll get in.

Really good chance… More than I can say for myself!
