<p>Hello to you all! This is my first post on this site, and I'm hoping for great advice. I would like to attend San Jose State (being my top choice), CSU Northridge, San Diego State, University of Hawaii: Hilo, and Hawaii Pacific University.</p>

<p>By the way I'm a female from California and I live in a low income household. I'm also interested in being a computer science major.</p>

<p>Test Scores:
SAT - Reading 550 and Writing 450 and Math 410</p>

<p>Good courses 9th-12th:
H English A
Currently in AP English</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
.... I'm planning on joining the swim team this year.
I volunteer A LOT.</p>

<p>GPA weighted is 2.58
Unweighted is 2.50</p>

<p>I've been browsing these chances forum for a while and I see everybody has a much longer list than me. So do I have no chance to get into any of these colleges or do I? And if you want some more information I'll add it. Thank you in advance for all the help.</p>

<p>Have you shown an upward trend in your grades? have you done any EC’s other than community service? any clubs, sports, etc? Sat II’s?</p>

<p>CSUs don’t put much weight on ECs, if at all. Perhaps UHI or Hawaii Pacific do more of that, though.</p>

<p>CSUN: High match (since your courseload isn’t the most rigorous)
SDSU: Reach
UHI-Hilo: Lack of information about GPA from the school (but provisional status: match)</p>
