Alright, I hope it is acceptable to post as a possible transfer student. My pleas have gone unanswered in the transfer thread, and each schools thread.

I'm applying to USC, and Dominican University of California for their BS/MS Occupational Therapy programs. Current status Sophomore, intended major Kinesiology/Pre OT

I'll include high school stats as well.
College GPA: 3.12, upward trend had a bad second semester of freshman year
High School GPA: 3.34 battled concussions, missed a ton of school, and attended 3 high schools because of it (out of district, on-line, and in district)
High School Rank 9/191 (a horrible school district)
ACT: 21 (sadly that was the highest of my grade at last high school, didn't study for it, and wasn't aware of the powers of CC)
APs: 3
ECs: volleyball (2 yrs, captain last year) 1 yr SMART team, 2 yr German Club, 1 yr yearbook
Volunteering: Hospital, Shop with a Cop program, Vacation Bible School, various events that lasted for one day
Work: Fast Food joint 2 yrs (was about to be promote before I left for college, but did the same work that new position would've been), and Fitness room attendant at Senior Center
Awards: Honor roll, MVP vball, Crew Member of Month, All Star Crew Member, 1st All Conference Team vball

Now I know USC is probably a long shot as I don't have any good stats, but I was hoping my essays would help me out with that. Topics I'm considering writing on are: 1) my concussions which I've had 3 (4 possibly), and I've battled with for 7 years, it has opened my eyes to the discrimination, and challenges that mental health can have on a person, 2) my recent car accident where I was unable to perform, activities of daily living, (adls) for a week which has given me a appreciation for occupational therapists, although I did not see one for treatment I did see a physical therapist.

I'm thinking the second option would be the best, but for some reason I'm thinking anyone could write that essay. My first option on the other hand most cannot write about because who gets 4 concussions? I may be wrong, but I hardly know someone who has had more then 1. Sure football, hockey, or soccer players may but I was not in those sports. lol It sadly has shaped who I am as a person now because if it was not for the concussions I'm going to say I would be completely different.
