chance me please!!

I am actually a freshman studying in university of the Philippines, but i want to enter University of Pennsylvania as a freshman because philippines' secondary education is only for 4 years and i am 17 now. does anyone know whether i should also present the grades that i have received in my university as well? and is it possible for me to get recommendation letters from my professors?

i will apply for engineering courses

My SAT score is 2200 ( 680/800/720)
SAT II : chem: 730, math 2: 760
AP: havent taken any yet, but i am aiming for 5 in 5 subjects this May
i am not sure how to convert my grades into GPA but i got mostly A or A- and some Bs in my highschool.
i have been in Taekwondo varsity for 1 year
one of school representatives in numerous math competitions
volunteered a lot
and in university, my GWA is 1.20 and i am a university scholar

If you’re in university, I would imagine you’d be applying as a transfer. Looks pretty good, but what is GWA? If you want to convert grades to GPA, just google search a GPA calculator and it should do it for you.

Also, professor recommendations probably make more sense, as they have more recent experience with you.

thank you!!
i actually considered transfering but i heard that it is harder than entering as a freshman…
so i am planning to start again as a freshman

do you think that would be possible??

Did you apply as a freshman before? I’m not too clear on the rules for that. Transfer applicant here.

no i havent… i am actually studying in university now because I am also applying for Korean universities, and those Korean universities require me to complete 12 years of education before entering the university…
