Chance me, please?

Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum, but since I saw so many good replies to "chances" I decided to make one myself.

I'm an incoming HS senior who has a lot of ECs but has mediocre grades. Here's a list of all the advanced classes I've taken:

Freshman/Sophomore year: all honors except math, band
-->I've taken a LOT of extra courses though, just for my own interest. Will this help me? Most of the extra courses were also honors.

Junior:
-AP English Lit.
-AP U.S. History
Everything else honors, again, except for math. Still band & extra courses.

Senior year I'm planning to take the following:
-AP Gov
-AP English Lang.
-AP French (or I might just take the AP test)
-AP Calculus (?)
This one's a little strange. I'm planning to study abroad in France my second semester of senior year, which is why my courses are all messed up. In NO WAY am I planning to back out, but I will at least take 2 AP tests, and hopefully score a 4/5.

My SAT score is 2090, 760 math, 670 reading, 660 writing.
ACT score: 30
GPA: Somewhere between 3.8 and 4.1. My sophomore year drowned this year and my freshman year. But my grades this year have been high.

ECs:
-I play a unique instrument, and I've won a few international/national competitions. I've also been a member of an acclaimed orchestra for 9 going onto 10 years. Volunteer work is included, something like 200+ hours? Plus some freelance job opportunities.
-Editor for school magazine for 2 years, hopefully 3
-Editor for school yearbook for 2 years, will be having 3
-Student council for 3 years
-NHS
-Thespian Society
-World Language Honors Society
-Marching Band/Wind Ensemble/Winter & Fall Guard
-Leadership
-Stage Crew (Drama Club)
-Enrichment

So, what are my chances if I applied to these colleges:
-NYU
-George Washington University
-Georgetown
-Johns Hopkins
-Hong Kong University
-Rutgers University

I'm Asian, female. And if anyone could suggest good safety schools or just any other schools, that'd be awesome! :) I want to study international relations, with a minor in 2 languages, probably Chinese, Arabic, or French.

Thanks in advance for anyone who replies!

All are match except Johns Hopkins and possibly Georgetown, which are both reaches. This is because of your GPA, average test scores, and the fact that you’re Asian (yes, I am a female Asian too and it’s unfair). I’d suggest leeching for a music focused career with international relations so you can set your ECs to work! Because your ECs are strong, I think you have a good chance for some UC schools, even if your home state isn’t Cali because UCs are highly ranked and (in my opinion) very good schools that are kind of soft.

Chance me back please, and best of luck!

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, I have a twin sister who’s been telling me I should apply to UC schools. And a lot of people have suggested at least a double major in music. But the problem is, I have financial difficulties, which means UC schools would be difficult to go to even if I were to be accepted just because the tuition there is high. The other problem is, if I major in music, the cost outweighs the benefit, seeing as I’d probably be broke for the first ten years of my life after college. Any other suggestions?

Perhaps you could intentionally switch music to a minor when you arrive to your dream school? For financial difficulties, there are scholarships and work opportunities here, and I would definitely invest in a good education, even if the cost is high. For example, my parents earn ~36000/year with a family of 4 and then one brother just out of college. They have to help my brother with his college finances, pay off relatives for borrowing money for this house, and then fund my sister and me. And both parents are seniors, with one now unemployed and the other working shifts at a run down Chinese restaurant. Both my parents urge me to apply to top colleges, no matter the cost, because AS LONG AS YOU WORK HARD and show excellence, passion, intelligence, and creativity, you will succeed.
