Chance me please

Weighted GPA: 3.52
My GPA was 3.38 cumulative for freshman and sophomore year, but in junior year, my grades shot up and my GPA for that single year was more or less 3.70. My high school is also a very rigorous one in NJ.

My SAT Superscore is 2010: 600 Reading, 680 Math, 730 Writing.

I have taken Personal Financial Literacy last year and received a solid A. I am taking Accounting and Business Law at the moment in high school and I am also maintaining A's in both. I will be taking Business Economics in the second semester and I am taking Pre-calculus Honors, regular history and English, and AP Spanish right now.

I was in the Interact club for 2 years and this year, I am the treasurer. I have many volunteer hours as well.
I also play the clarinet.
My brother attends TCNJ and I fell in love with the school at first sight.

I was thinking about applying ED for the Accounting program, but I'm really worried about my chances. I wanted to prove to the colleges that I finally got my act together and that I really am trying harder now in my academics. Would they accept me?

Can’t say for sure, but your stats look good. My DD has very similar stats and trend as you do. About a 3.3 for Fresh/Soph year, but really picked it up jr year and had a great senior year. Her SAT superscore was 1990 (660 Reading; 680 Math; 650 Writing).

She did not have a ton of ECs either. Mainly 12 years of girl scouts, 2 years of cheerleading (team went to Nationals), Education Club, and Poland Exchange program (both hosting and going abroad).

She applied ED for Elementary Education/Math-Science-Technology and was accepted. She is a freshman and really loves it there.

Good luck.

Thanks for your reply!
