<p>I am a white male from California. I will have two varsity letters in soccer, about 100 hours of community service, a bit of work experience through refereeing and will have been enrolled in nine AP classes by the time I graduate. I also am taking my 5th year of Spanish this year. Since eighth grade I've taken Spanish I, Spanish II, Spanish III, AP Spanish Language and AP Spanish Literature. I have been told that looks good so I figured I'd add it.

<p>If you were in state you would have a much better chance. I agree with Pat that your GPA is low for OOS. Your ACT is fine though. Just make sure you have other schools in mind in case Michigan doesn’t work out. Apply early to LSA for the best chance</p>
<p>I definitely feel like it is a reach as well but I wanted to get some other feedback. Michigan is probably my first choice so I’ve planned accordingly and have plenty of other schools in mind. Thanks!</p>
