Applying for Biology and Psychology Majors</p>

<p>Overall High school B student in all subject ( majority are B and B+)
-Took Advanced Biology class (A) </p>

<p>SAT 1: 490 critical reading, 720 math. Overall 1210</p>

<p>1st Fall semester in college GPA: 82/100
I apply in March.</p>

<p>-Red cross member
-Tutoring
-Participated in many "Go green" and recycling events
-Very good recommendation letters from high school professors.</p>

<p>the CR is a concern, of course; it puts you well down in the bottom 25% of accepted freshman. the math should serve you fine, putting you at the top of the mid 50%. reading is soooo much a part of doing well in college that the CR will get people’s attention. would it be possible to take that SAT again?</p>

<p>the 82 in college courses your first semester is a help, but where was this work done?</p>

<p>I’d say your chances are less than 50% at the moment and may require more work before you transfer.</p>
