Hello, I am posting on behalf of my brother since he doesn't have a college confidential account. He is a TEXAN high school senior applying as soon as possible. Here are his stats.

Weighted GPA: 3.9 Unweighted GPA: 3.7
Class Rank 78/614
SAT: Best Score 1750 (680R, 490M, 580 WR) Superscore 1790 (690R, 530M, 580 WR)
Clubs: HOSA, Chess Club, Asian American Association, Book Club, French Honor Society, and Interact
Volunteer Services: Active volunteer within school. Done volunteer services such as teacher aid, library aid, custodian/janitorial aid, and helped beautify the school through helping manage the school's courtyard/garden and helping clean inside the school. Also volunteered through HOSA. (Volunteered over 100 hours).
Awards: AP Scholar Award, Perfect Attendance, AB Honor Roll, Joule Award for Debate (had the highest grade for the course out of all students).
AP Scores: 5 AP US History, 4 Language and Composition, 4 Human Geography, 3 World History AP. Planning to take AP Art History, Government, Macroeconomics, Literature and Composition, and Environmental Science this year. He is also currently enrolled in Biology AP although he does not intend to take the AP exam.

Things to Note: Out of State applicant and plans to major in Biology. He didn't do very well his early high school years and did not do much volunteering or extracurriculars for his freshmen and sophomore years. However, after realizing he wasn't involved as he should be and realizing how important academics are his grades improved greatly and he began to try to become more involved in the school. As such there is definitely an upward trend in his grades from freshmen to senior year.

He is also doing very well this semester with very high A+ as his grades. Should he wait until he finishes this semester to apply? As there will be an improvement in his grades and rank. Thank you very much.
