<p>I'm a white male junior considering these schools:</p>

-Carnegie Mellon (Computer Sci or Business)

-University of Wisconsin, Madison
-University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign
-Northwestern University (Higher chance of acceptance due to Evanston residence) </p>

<p>The Numbers: 4.33 weighted GPA ending Sophomore year (should rise as first semester Junior grades are not included yet) 33 ACT.</p>

<p>I have taken all possible honors classes through Sophomore year (Except for Chem/Phys). This year I am in AP Physics B, APUSH and AP English Language and Composition. Next year I'm taking AP Physics C, BC Calculus, 5 German AP, and AP US Government. </p>

<p>Community Service: 30 hours</p>

<p>Extracurricular Activities:</p>

<p>Student Council Treasurer (Sophomore Year)
-YTC (Freshman Year)
-Photo Club (Freshman Year)
-President, DECA
-President, Investment Club
-Cello-12 years with 5 years in out of school Orchestra. </p>

Internship at two technology companies during the summers and falls. </p>

<p>you dont mention your UW gpa because thats what colleges look at mainly.What were your ap scores? your ecs are also good, but average when compared to the applicants of the schools you are applying</p>

<p>Currently I have a 3.9 unweighted GPA. It’ll probably go down since I have a little bit lower grades with my AP load</p>
