Chance me please!

Hello, I’m a Vietnamese senior who is currently studying at a boarding school in the U.S (I have been studying here since my junior year). I’m intending to apply EDI to Bates, so can somebody please chance me? Thanks so much!
P/s: I need A LOT OF financial aid, so I know it’s my biggest drawback right now.

I. Academic Achievement

GPA: 4.0/4.0 (unweighted), 4.58/4.0 (weighted)

Senior courses: AP Biology, AP Calculus AB, AP European History, AP Economics, World Literature Honors (I want to take 5 but my school only allows 4)

Rank: School doesn’t rank

SAT score: 2260 (CR: 720, M: 800, W: 740)

Awards: Best student at Chemistry (school level), Best student at U.S History (school level), National Honor Society, AP Scholar with Honor, and Shinnyo-en Scholar (Vietnam)

II. Extracurricular Activities:

Co-founder of MUN Club at school and I myself have participated in 3 MUN conferences.

Class vice president for four years in Vietnam

Tutoring students in my boarding school now, and founder of a tutoring program in Vietnam

Writer for my boarding school’s newspaper, and editor for bunch of famous newspaper in Vietnam

Manager for a website for students who want to study abroad (the biggest website in Vietnam, whose sponsors are a lot of universities in America)

Part-time employer at a event organizer center: I directly participated in the planning process

Fundraiser and member of the organizing department: I raised $53,000 for approximately 11 community trips.

Swimming: I have been swimming for over 6 years and gained 4 medals (city-level)

My history teacher said that his recommendation letter for me is outstanding and he enjoyed writing it. I don’t know about my science teacher though, because I urged her to write it so I could have it in time for my EA school. And about the counselor’s… I don’t really know.

If there are anything that can improve my chance of getting into Bates, please suggest me! Thank you so much  And I have one question: do you think submitting the application form before the deadline 10 days or more has any advantage than submitting it on the deadline day? As my counselor always urges me to submit it early…

I wouldn’t be concerned at all. I have heard that for women, it is much harder to get into Bates because they receive many more applications from women. This is true of many schools, however.
