Chance me please?

SAT: 2250
SAT II: 750 Bio, 780 Math I
GPA: 3.8UW, 4.2 W
Ranking: unknown

Junior year course load: AP Eng Lit (5), Chem Honours, Bio 11, Pre Calc 12, Physics 11, Spanish 11, English 11, Strings 12, AP Bio (5)(self studied)
Senior year course load: Grad Trans (mandatory course in BC/Canada), AP Eng Lang, AP Phys 1, AP Chem, AP Calc, Spanish 12, Strings 12, English 12, Bio 12

Volunteer work: over 500+ hours at Kumon and local mountain, peer tutor at school, volunteer award since 8th grade
Jobs: music retailer, snowboard instructor

Awards (I don’t have much): Honour Distinctions student since gr. 9, senior girls snowboard race champion, won a couple of math contests within the school

Leadership: Gr. 11 rep, gr. 12 rep, part of district student council

EC’s: music (provincial orchestra, city orchestra, awards and there’s a TON more I won’t bother listing out), snowboarding

Cons: Dad makes more than 100k/year but I need financial aid and I’m Asian (but I’ve lived in Canada for 12 years),

I’m worried about my cons and the lack of rewards I have. There’s really not much here to be awarded for in BC unless you’re going outside of school but my music career and course load have prevented me from focusing on things like that. Hopkins has been my dream since I was 9 (my BF went to CTY when we were in elementary school which is how I knew).

I want to try out the new major (Medicine, Science, and the Humanities) and a minor in music. I might even attempt the double degree program but I’ll see that for later.

Thanks.

Although I think you have a good chance of getting in (although I’m not exactly sure how the admissions committee looks at international students), I think the possibility of you getting financial aid is rather low.
