Also forgot to mention two of my favorite hobbies are painting and baking. Since I invest a majority of my free time into these activities, is there a way I could incorporate them into my application? If so where would they go?

I would certainly retake if I were you. 100 points higher on the Sat could really help as your EC’s are really lacking.

I would consider Baylor a safety. Boston U is definitely a match. The rest are reaches. Ditch the ACT and focous on getting your SAT up into the high 1400’s. If you do that, schools like Emory and Wash U St. Louis turn into match schools. Schools like Chicago will always be a reach no matter what you have. My advice to you is to consider adding a few more safeties. Your EC’s are not bad to be honest, and yes, you can definitely put your hobbies on your resume.

@Savage101 Thanks for the tips! Could you possibly suggest some more good match and safety schools based on my stats?

I’m from the northeast, so I don’t know much about schools in the midwest. But anyways, some schools are University of Rochester and Case Western. They both have exceptional medical, science, and research facilities/hospitals and would make for an excellent premed program. University of Rochester especially. It has a massive hospital system that is enormous. Both of these schools give good merit aid too for kids with high test scores and grades. I got 28k/yr from Case Western, bringing the price down to around 33-26k per yr. You should be a good fit for both of these schools. (my SAT was in the mid 1500’s)

Safeties would be your states flagship and U Illinois and Mich State.
