<p>However, I'm fascinated by Roman history; didn't take Latin due to there being a lack of an AP subset in our school system for the language. Shame. :(</p>

<p>a shame indeed. a further shame that i apparently i can't find any other classicists on cc that can advise me on anything.</p>

<p>anyhow, hopefully you'll take some Roman history classes at Cornell next year!! perhaps some intensive latin as well :) best of luck dude</p>
