<p>in 9th grade, i was a level 9 gymnast and practiced 5 hrs/day, 5 days/wk so gymnastics pretty much consumed my life, so i didn't have time to do other activities...in 10th grade i decided to do high school gymnastics and had a lot more time</p>

<p>summer: internship at ucsd cancer center to study immunology (try to find new target antigens and develop efficacy of cytotoxic t-lymphocytes on cancer cells)</p>
