Please chance me, i know my scores suck, but would my ec's compensate for the crappy scores?

Wash U is pretty weird with it's acceptances. Even a literally perfect applicant who shows much interest and has great scores could be denied. I've come to learn that their basis for acceptance is quite unpredictable, however, based on qualities that they think will really improve their university.

Now, in terms of your scores, they are pretty good, but generally speaking, on the lower end of the spectrum for Wash U. Try retaking the tests (particularly either the SAT or the ACT) to raise your score a bit. Your EC's are pretty solid and show depth rather than breadth, which is great. I think you have a fairly good shot. As many have said before, showing interest definitely can not hurt. Try visiting the school, setting up an alumni interview, sending e-mail, and generally just being active.

Good luck!
