<p>i am going to apply next year and i would appreciate it if you could tell my what my chances are. I am a greek student. Here it goes:
SAT I scores:Math 800,Writing 700,Critical reading 600
SAT II scores:Math I 800, Physics 800. Math II 800
School grades:among the 5 best students out of 200 in my school athens college which is considered to be the best here, and it anually sends 2-4 to ivies
Extracurriculars:i have won all the debate contests in my chool,and i am the school magazine editor.Almost made it to the imo with the greek math team last year,many national awards in math and science.President of the unesco club in my school.Qualified in the aime.Sports:basketball for 4 years in and out of my school,play the piano for 4 years.
Comunity service:red cross two last summers,300 hrs of volunteer work.
Reccomendations:i hope to get excellent ones because everyone likes me.

<p>except for your SAT 1 scores (which are fine but probably just a little below what they could be), you seem to be in good standing. as people on CC have stated time and time again concerning Columbia admission, the thing to put you over the top is a passion for something, be it theater or dance or political involvement or mathletes or whatever. the big chance for that to come across is in your essay, but having your ECs weighted towards one subject always helps.</p>
