<p>Hello, everyone! I’m going to be a senior next year (YOG: 2009), and I’m wondering about my chances at these colleges ranked by priority:

<p>I think my chances at my top 4 colleges will be very slim if not impossible. Constructive criticism would be appreciated.</p>

<p>I’ll be brutally honest. Your chances of getting into your #1 - #4 colleges are very, very low. Especially in your demographics - an Asian male - it becomes even tougher. Your ECs are pretty weak, and your academics aren’t outstanding (compared to the competition pool). Don’t rely on your status as low-income, 1st generation college graduate; adcoms will only glance at it, and they will make minimum impact on your chances.</p>

<p>I say it’s a fair shot at Boston & Northeastern. I do know that these schools are still competitive, so it’s not a 100% guarantee. </p>

<p>I suggest you apply to more safety schools.</p>
