Sophomore: 3.3 uw
Junior: 4.0 uw </p>

<p>Up until this point only 1 Honors class (A both semesters)</p>

<p>Like I said rough, but total GPA, is for a fact: 3.65w </p>

<p>Very competitive High School and API ~815+ </p>

Physics AP (B)</p>

<p>ACT: 27 (retaking) </p>

<p>SAT 1: never taken (did really bad on PSAT)</p>

<p>SAT II: US History - 720 Math 2c - 670 (retaking)</p>

<p>ECs:
German club 4 years (V.P. 1 year)
2 years Waterpolo (Rookie of the Year award)
2 years Swim (with a medal count)
CSF - 2 years
Red Cross - 1 year
Taste of Esperanza - Over the summer, and some into September</p>

<p>Designed, and maintained some websites for different clubs (German, Taste of Esperanza) </p>

<p>100+ hours community service
Some coaching waterpolo
some from helping around school</p>

<p>Plan on writing pretty good essays, about how I had to change my plans after I had to sit out the beginning of Sophomore Swim season due to injury and had to rethink the rest of high school.</p>

<p>I would say you have a good chance, but you would've had a 100% chance if you were a part of ELC. BUT, that doesn't mean you won't get in.</p>

<p>=] I believe UCSB accepts on average about 48-50% of its applicants. Make sure you stand out in your essays.</p>

<p>i had similar grades to you and i got in when i applied in fall 2006. i had a 3.0 sophmore year and a 4.0 junior year with a 33 act and 700 hours of community service. Unfortunately, i got rejected by all the other mid level and upper UC's</p>
