Chance Me PLease!

Hey, heres my stats:

SAT: 2040
ACT: no idea
SAT II: None
GPA: 3.85?
AP: school dosn't offer them

Recs: Exemplary, one from a Stanford graduate.

EC's:
Drum Lessons,
Singing Lessons,
Apalachian Service Project: Repaired peoples homes
8 Theater Productions (many lead roles)
Various others including 220 hrs of comm. service

Personal Essay: Good, focused on well roundedness and academic curiosity
Why Stanford: Good (matter of fact, conversational)
Roommate: EPIC (Creative)
Intelectual experience: Great (Formal)

Hook: I come from a 50 person (entire school) Performing Arts High School in colorado. Unique student, not a standard 4.0, 2400 public school student, but bring forward thinking, creative, think outside the box.

Applying SCEA

I cant think of anything else, except I am sending in a folder with information about my school since it is so unique (I know, they dont like these, but whatev).

Tell me if I am missing anything.

Thanks for Looking! (and be kind)

Arts supplement?

i think you will likely be rejected SCEA... apparently they're not big on deferrals which you would probably get otherwise.

why? would I have a better chance in RD?

No, RD doesn't improve chances for anyone. If Stanford is your first choice, go for SCEA.

so.. anyone have any actual chances for me?

i say no chance, sorry. low SAT scores for stanford, really low. No SAT II's?? Keep in mind that 90% of people applying have taken two.

Since you come from performing arts school. Why did you not do the arts supplement?

btw, a performing arts school without AP Music Theory? O.o

well... thanks for the reality check. :(

^Don't let these people get to you. You're chances are in fact small, but people do get in with 2040s on their SATs. Your GPA is quite good.

read this:
Stanford University

SAT scores are extremely low for Stanford. The rest of the profile appears obscenely derivative. If you can get the SAT to a 2250...

Please further explain that hook.

^^^^

what do you mean? I am not a unique student... I am a good actor... I dunno. If I get in, Im gonna laugh at all y'all
