Chance me please!!

Hey, thanks for looking at this! I'm only a sophomore in high school, but I already have my mind set on college. I know my GPA/scores/extracurriculars will change since I have 2 years left, but I'm really anxious about knowing what I can improve.

Top choices: American University & Boston University. I can also live with Marist and Goucher College, but they're not my ideal schools.

GPA (estimating): 3.5
PSAT: 1730... writing 600, reading 600, math 530.
All level one classes, one honors.
Extracurriculars: co-President of STAND: Students Taking Action Now, Darfur
school newspaper Features writer
Volunteer on Obama campaign, local state representative campaign

Again, my junior year will change things drastically. However, I still would appreciate knowing my chances now and what to work harder on. Thank you!!

Figure I'd give a bit more info:
looking to major in communications/journalism, minor in film.
New Democrats club (forgot to add that to EC list)
BUMP!

I think it's much too early for you to be on here, especially with your majors and colleges already chosen. Raise your GPA with tough classes, prepare and do well on the SAT/ACT, get involved, and find your niche. Then you could get in anywhere. GL
