On 1-10, what are my chances? 2? 8? 5?

THANKS! :^)

I would say a 3-5 without reading your essays. You should know that Arts and Sciences is one of the most competitive colleges at Cornell, and that your ECs don't show particular commitment or focus.

The only thing that stands out to me is your internship.

It's just my two cents.

my internships were all in bio/med related fields

science volunteer, national science honor society, math honor society

plus arts- orchestra, literature newspaper, contests

no focus?

Nope. 10char

Again it's just my two cents. Ignore me if you wish. Don't take it seriously.

and summer college was in "focus on the sciences"

and my essays were killer

...

Ok then you'll get in 100%. I think that's the answer you were looking for.

sorry for not posting my life story! go waste your time somewhere else when i'm asking for legitimate feedback!

:)

Numbers look good....ECs look good. NYLF/Med and NYLC are nothing special...I did them...don't feel they made me stand out as an applicant.

Without reading your essays...you come across as a typical CAS Bio applicant (strong numbers, science/math EC, etc...). I believe your admission decision will come down to your essays and how effectively you are able to communicate your desire to attend and why you feel CAS is the best environment to foster your intellectual interests (vs. pursuing Bio in CALS).

This is just my own 2 cents....you can take it for whatever it's worth!

Thank you for constructive feedback :)

Wow. What a nice way of asking for chance. I was just stating my opinions. I think it's just that my ratings are too low. If that's the case, I am sorry. You really deserve 10/10.

I have to agree with dewdrop; she fully conveyed what I was trying to say. I even specifically stated that I don't have access to your essays. For the EC section of your application, I would group your ECs into two sections rather than spreading out into like all seven sections. I would utilize the additional information section to show a laundry list of involvements under each category. As I looked at your ECs I didn't really see any particular commitment or focus.

Again, what a nice way of asking for chances.

Hmm... I think that you have a pretty good like an 7.5 out of 10. Just curious, are you from NY?

30-40% chance

no i'm from east nc actually

are u a urm?

no 10 char
