seriously stop doing this dumb chance thing because college admissions DO NOT WORK like how you think they do the smartest person might not get in davis but get into La. go do something meaningful with your life and wait for the results just like the thousands of other people.

SHEESH etem5ak1!! Calm the f*** down!!

Poor girl is just asking opinions, just like how every other prospective college student is. Chill out gosh.

clc2513: You’re in!

Lolz I’d say you’re in. I got in and had no where near an application like yours.

Nothing’s surefire. I’ve seen people getting into Berkeley get rejected from UCI (ridiculous, I know). Competition is increasing, so don’t hold your breathe. Your extracurriculars are way above average. Your SATs are good, but your AP scores are non-impressive at all. GPA is a little low, but if taken into account your highschool difficulty, it should even out. All in all, you’ll probably get in. UCI’s a backup school for most, anyway. SAD FACE.

ur gona get in no problem

i went to troy

and i go to uci now

Most likely you’ll get in. You have a good shot at UCSD, and perhaps CAL and UCLA.

It doesn’t hurt to take the SAT more than once. Even if you feel like you didn’t study, you might get a better score.

And there is a forum area for chances, for future reference.

Id say your chances are good. Take the SAT again to help your chances. I scored a 2030 first time and scored a 2230 second try. So big jumps are possible!
And your senior GPA does not affect admissions decision because you apply before the end of the semester. good luck! :)

thanks everyone for the advice about the SATs…and for the APs the ones i took this year are a lot better since i actually knew what the tests were like and prepared for it much better. i’m hoping 4s and 5s for all three but thanks again! :D

Youre in, in my opinion  !! I live near & have friends who go to Troy High so I know how tough that school is and I heard that UCI takes that into consideration  ! And your ECs are good too. I’d be surprised a LOT if you got rejected but hopefully not!! Good luck!
