Chance me please :)

Hi. I just finished sophomore year…

First, here are my grades (I take almost all Honors/AP classes):

GPA (UW): 3.7
GPA (W): 4.5

Test Scores:

Math II SAT II–770
World History SAT II–790
European History AP–4
ACT–32/33 (predicted)

I do photography and play soccer. Also, I am active in a youth group (I have gotten some local leadership awards for it).

So, am I on track?

Also…Is Amherst really intellectual like Columbia/Chicago? Or is it more like Penn and Cornell?

Thanks so much!

Your numbers are fine. Therefore, you have to focus on standing out from the crowd.

Columbia isn’t intellectual (i.e., the generalization that all or even most of its students are intellectual is unfounded).
Columbia and Penn are similar schools.

Amherst is like Williams.
A healthy balance of the following descriptions: athletic, intellectual, laid back.
