Chance me please?

<p>Hey there,</p>

<p>So I would really like to know what you guys think my chances are for getting into UCD (my dream school =b)</p>

<p>UC GPA: 3.92 I brought it up from a 3.0 freshman year to a 4.3 junior year so I’m hoping they see that.</p>

<p>SAT I: 1710</p>

<p>SAT II: 520 on us history
490 on english</p>

<p>I know, i did bad on these =( but i honestly think its the best I can do since i forget almost everything from us history and the english was a lot harder than I thought it would be!</p>

<p>Community service: about 100 hours for down syndrome organization, and good friends with president of organization.</p>

<p>played soccer for 10 years, than started working out for 2 years to present, vice president of entrepreneurs club, rank 93/545 of senior class</p>

<p>and yea, thats pretty much it. I know compared to the geniuses on this site i look like a total scrub, but what do you think my chances are? or maybe for UCSB?</p>

<p>GPA gives you a good chance, but then again the SAT scores seem a little low.</p>

<p>I would say 75/25 considering your extra cirric. as well</p>

<p>thanks for the reply brotha, and yea…i know…my SAT’s are terrible but no matter how much freaking private tutoring i get i just can’t get them up.</p>

<p>and as an edit, i actually have an avg 3.95 although not that big of a difference =b</p>

<p>what major do you plan to apply for? Some majors are harder/easier to get into than others.</p>

<p>For example, if you were to apply for biological sciences I am pretty sure you would not be admitted, but for other majors that aren’t as competitive you would still be admitted. Maybe looking into going undeclared if you wanted to do bio?</p>

<p>I think i put down managerial economics and as a secondary choice i put economics.</p>
