Chance me please?

(my school has a "gifted" program and they don't have to take some dumb freshman classes so of them take the top places of class rank. Kinda unfair. Without the "gifted kids" I would be 5/~240. Top 2%. My counselor noted it in her letter)

Essays: I think good
Letters of Rec: My two teachers said they would write good ones, but I have no idea
Counselor: I think it’s good…
Possible extra letter of rec from my manager at Microsoft. She sent it to me, and it’s honestly one of the most beautiful things I have ever read (not trying to brag here, sorry). Does NYU take extra letters of rec?

Economic bracket: 150,000-200,000
No ancestry at NYU

Really interested in BPE program (show a lot of interest in business and marketing (Microsoft), economic and multi-culturalism (common app essay)). I think I have a descent shot also because of languages, cultural background (essay) etc…

Also applied to Stanford early (just found out rejected), UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Irvine, U Washington, UPENN (Wharton), Harvard (just for kicks and giggles), U North Carolina, U Michigan.

What do you think? Can I get in?
Comments, recommendations even for other schools welcome! Thanks!

I’m assuming you’re applying to Stern?

I think you have a good chance. Not a lock, since it’s Stern, but you have very good stats and you’re a match in my opinion. Good luck!

apart from your SAT scores, you are a solid candidate.

you probably should have applied early

I think you are a candidate but like arsenalrc said, you should have applied early! But i think you have a good shot :slight_smile:

@OP

I agree with noooob, i believe the other poster who had the same stats applied to CAS… your SAT’s are very low for stern… I had a 2130 and applied to CAS

Your gpa and ec’s are good though… but still a reach nonetheless
