Chance me please :)

Schools-
Virginia Tech.
James Madison University.
George Mason University.
University of Maryland - CollegePpark.

GPA-
3.3 as of first semester. I'm going to definitely work hard to get a 4.0 second semester so that will average out my junior year gpa to be a 3.55 (or rounded to a 3.6). The last time I checked, my current rank was 103 out of 351.

SAT-
Taking it on march 13th...I've been studying a lot so I have faith that I'll receive a good score.

AP Courses-
Currently taking AP English Language & Comp and I've maintained a solid B in the class. I plan to take the exam in May.

Extracurricular-
DECA
Spanish Club
Yearbook staff
Newspaper staff (sports correspondent next year)
FCCLA

Volunteer-
I've volunteered with 3 different organizations and I have a total of 9 1/2 hours.

I was in the Who's Who Among High School Students in the 2007-2008 edition, invited to People to People, National Leadership Conference, and I've received an Academic Letter from my school.

I live in Virginia and I'm a first generation college student. Is it realistic that I'll be accepted from either of these colleges ?

Thanks :)

It is difficult to chance without any SAT scores. What did you get on the PSAT? Is that your GPA for three all years? I think you have a good chance at all the Virginia state schools if you continue with an upward trend. Your EC look good, but you might want to volunteer a bit more of the summer. Are you taking anymore AP’s next year?

I got a 189 on the PSAT.
Freshman year gpa- 3.5
Sophomore year gpa- 3.3
First semester junior year gpa- 3.3
I’m taking AP English Lit and AP Government for senior year
I definitely plan to volunteer a lot more over the summer to get more hours as well.
